Certification testing and/or testing preparation are available to the students of American Commercial College, Inc. Earning certification means that you have successfully passed a competency standard test created by the industry.  Certification testing preparation or on-campus testing is available for the following industry prepared and recognized certifications. Certifications are not required for graduation and are not included in the students tuition and fees.  Not all certification preparation is included in each program.  A list of certification test charges is available from the test proctor or from the administration office.

MOS: Microsoft Certifications
There are numerous levels of certifications that are available through Microsoft Certified Professional.  These include MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) - Core and Expert Level; MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) and MCP + Internet.

OPAC: Office Proficiency Assessment Certification
This certification is sponsored by the Association of Administrative Professionals.  This certification assesses the skill competencies of numerous office technology skill areas; eg: Computer Skills, Records Management, Accountancy, English and Grammar etc.

A+:  Computing Technology Industry Association
This certification verifies the competency of service technicians in the computer industry. This Certification means that you possess the knowledge, skills and customer relations skills essential for successful computer service technician as defined by experts from companies across the country.  A+ Certification is only available at our Lubbock and Wichita Falls campuses.

NCCT: National Center for Competency Testing
Sponsored by the National Center for Competency Testing, various certification credentials are available in several areas. Registered Bookkeeper, Certified CPA Assistant, Certified Medial Office Specialist, Certified Insurance & Coding Specialist

MA: National Association for Health Professionals
Medical assistants are in high demand and being certified verifies the competency of an MA. MA's may also qualify for certification in phlebotomy an EKG technician.
